We celebrated my birthday and Christmas in New York. What a trip! The best and the worst NY trip ever.
The good:
I celebrated my birthday in Manhattan where Steve surprised me with tickets to a Cirque du Soleil show. We sat on the 2nd row and the show was unbelievable!
We got to spend the holidays with family.
We shared the news that we were expecting a baby.
The bad:
I threw up in my sister-in-law's car on Christmas Eve just before we made the announcement that I was pregnant. Not that there was any need to make an announcement at that point.
Steve got the flu.
Severe snow storm blasted the Northeast cancelling our flight for at least three days. Steve had to work so he drove through the blizzard with the flu. Once the snow cleared, I drove through the night. A 15-hour trip took 21 hours.

We were as cold as we looked...
...but still having a good time!
Check out the belt bling!
More shops on 5th Ave or a YMCA dance party, whichever way you want to look at it.

Apparently they like their storefronts so much that they've published photos of them in a book
